Rozelle's main drag of Darling Street has a wonderful village feel and is filled with lively restaurants and cafes, antique stores and unique specialty shops. You'll notice Rozelle has a distinct focus on wellness, with plenty of health-conscious eateries, yoga studios and natural therapies. A number of pubs are also dotted throughout its back streets, including the 3 Weeds and the Welcome Hotel, both landmarks dating back to the late 1800s.

Held every Saturday and Sunday in the grounds of Rozelle Public School, the ever-popular Rozelle Markets (officially called the Rozelle Collectors Market) are a great place to grab vintage, bric-a-brac and interesting finds.

Given that it's bordered by harbour on two sides, there's plenty of scenic waterfront parkland to enjoy. Located next to the Iron Cove Bridge, King George Park hosts an array of sports, with the famed Bay Run foreshore pathway curving past its playing fields.

Rozelle still has plenty of reminders of its industrial history. On White Bay you'll find the now abandoned monolith that is the former White Bay Power Station, which looms large as you cross the Anzac Bridge from the city. Plans for its redevelopment have been circulating for years. The Rozelle Bay waterfront is home to a multitude of maritime businesses, including the Sydney Superyacht Marina and the Sydney Heritage Fleet museum.

Highly regarded local schools include Rozelle Public School, Orange Grove Public School, Balmain Public School, Inner Sydney Montessori School and Sydney Secondary College Balmain Campus.
