Roseville, NSW 2069

The most southern suburb in the municipality of Ku-ring-gai, Roseville is home to 10 parks that cover 14% of its total area, making it a recreational delight and a lush, leafy place to reside.

For lovers of classic architecture, Roseville is home to many beloved Federation homes and California bungalows on generous blocks, most transformed for modern living, often with sensational gardens. Along the main arteries of Pacific Highway and Boundary Street, you'll find more contemporary medium-density housing, meaning there really is something for everyone, from families to retirees.

Local sports enthusiasts can head to Roseville Park, a multi-purpose sports facility with turf wicket, cricket nets, a soccer field, tennis and netball courts, BBQs, playground and dog off-leash area. The park is also home to the ever-popular Sous Le Soleil restaurant, a charming 19th-century cottage where you can enjoy fabulous modern French cuisine.

For keen golfers, Roseville Golf Club is widely regarded as one of Sydney's friendliest and most appealing private golf clubs. If you fancy a leisurely ramble through native bushland, the Blue Gum Creek Walking Track has an entrance on Shirley Road, taking you through the tall trees of peaceful Blue Gum Reserve. Roseville is also conveniently close to the attractions of beautiful Middle Harbour, where you'll find idyllic spots to swim, ramps to launch your boat and harbourside walks to explore.

Roseville's retail precinct is concentrated along Pacific Highway and parallel Hill Street around the train station. Here you'll find your classic array of village offerings, from multicultural eateries and a smattering of trendy cafes such as Calibrate Coffee to main services and specialty stores. An important part of the community, Roseville Cinemas is an Art Deco landmark and one of the few surviving independent cinemas in Sydney's suburbs, resisting the encroachment of multiplexes by a dedication to showing a range of local and foreign films.

For some serious retail therapy, Roseville lies directly north of Chatswood, one of Sydney's premier retail centres. Here you'll find Westfield and Chatswood Chase, a thriving multicultural culinary scene, entertainment, events and more.

There are two highly regarded local schools in Roseville, namely Roseville Public School and the private Anglican girls school Roseville College, along with Acre Woods Childcare and KU The Chase Preschool. Nearby you'll also find Newington College Lindfield Preparatory School, Ravenswood School for Girls, Pymble Ladies' College and Knox Grammar School. Additionally, the former site of UTS Ku-ring-gai has been transformed into the new Lindfield Learning Village, a progressive K-12 institution which is attracting parents keen on its unconventional, progressive approach to education.

Roseville is well serviced by public transport, making it loved by city commuters. It's just one stop from Roseville train station to Chatswood and less than 25 minutes to Wynyard in the CBD. Buses from the station also take you to the city, Chatswood and surrounds.
